Hands-On Component: Playing with an AMM

We will work through the Colab notebook together in class, using Web3.py to explore Uniswap pools on Sepolia.

• Read a pool’s tokens, balances, decimals, and swap fee.
• Use Uniswap’s Quoter to calculate swap outputs without sending transactions.
• Compare how much USDC we receive for the same amount of BULLDOGS: swapping directly to USDC versus swapping through WETH.

We will also demo a swap on Uniswap’s Sepolia testnet to see how it routes the trade.
